About the Goliath Name Generator
Goliaths are mountain people in many tabletop settings, and their names tend to be short, strong and easy to shout across a ridge. This set joins openers such as Kesh-, Brak- and Orun- to compact endings like -kan, -thi and -vok.
The glosses belong to this tool: Kesh is stone and -kan is carrier, so Keshkan reads "Stone carrier". Treat it as a name a clan might give for something the person did, not as a word from an official giant tongue.
Names that keep score
Goliath communities in many games prize fair competition. Give each character a name plus a short epithet earned in a contest: Brakvok (boulder + climber), the Second-Fastest Climber.
The name stays fixed and the epithet changes when someone beats the record. That gives you a reason for a rivalry and a running joke at the same time.
A clan on a mountainside
Generate eight names and assign four roles: lookout, hunter, keeper of the fire and the one who reads the weather. Sarolo (echo + lookout) and Tevanea (snow + hearth) fit two of them neatly.
Let the gloss suggest a role without forcing it. A lookout called Vonnmi (avalanche + river) is more memorable because the name does not match the job, and someone in the clan will have an opinion about that.
Short names, clear dialogue
Two-syllable names are the strength of this set, which also makes near-collisions likely: Keshkan and Ketkan differ by one letter.
Check the clan list before the session and swap one opener when two names are that close. Keep a shared ending only for siblings, where the similarity means something.
Inside the Goliath Name Set
Compare these invented constructions for your cast. Pick two similar names for related characters, then a contrasting one for a newcomer. The glosses belong to this tool, not an official fantasy language. Results can resemble names from existing fiction; they are not checked for rights or exclusivity.

Every Element in the Goliath Set
These are all the fragments this page combines. Choose a meaning you want first, then look for the opener and ending that carry it. The generator joins them with two spelling rules: a consonant repeated across the join is written once, and pairs that would put the same vowel twice at the join are left out.
